Draft the Jobsite Before It Ever Breaks Ground

AJD Construction LLC designs the digital discipline that keeps a construction project true to its drawing. We build the scheduling platforms, coordination portals, site report systems and compliance logs that let a general contractor run one clear thread from bid day to closeout.

First movement - The six system sets

A Complete Discipline on the Drafting Board

Every AJD build arrives as a clean set of sheets. Each row below is one full drawing set of a construction management information system, stamped and ready to hand to your field team.

SHEET A1

Scheduling Platforms

Division scope NEW

One calendar for every trade on site

We engineer a project scheduling platform that turns a wall of coordinators into one honest living master calendar. Critical path planning, phased lookaheads and weekly pull sessions are all held to the same schedule logic as the contract dates that owners signed. A contractor views the board and sees float, dependency and the next three weeks of commitments without digging through four emails to find the current version. Every trade partner sees the same live line, so the plan never forks between what the trailer prints and what the field believes. When a milestone moves, the platform shows which activities follow, so the recovery talk begins the day the slip happens and not two weeks later in a monthly meeting.

Sub Coordination

Subcontractor division RFI O3

Clear lanes for every subcontractor

Coordination portals give every subcontractor one clean front door. Their scopes, their submittal schedule, their access passes, their RFI threads and their daily punch items live together in a single folder that never goes to sleep. A trade logs in and sees exactly the portion of the project it owns, plus the handoff where its work touches a neighbor. When one crew pushes a start date, the ripple is visible to everyone who owns the activity after it, before the change hardens into a field argument or a lost week. Trade order conflicts that used to cost a poured deck now get caught in the trailer during pre construction review, while the drawings are still easy to adjust.

Site Reports

Field reporting REV 2

The daily diary that writes itself

Daily site report systems capture weather, crew counts, crane hours, deliveries and red line updates from the men and women who are actually out on the slab. Photos and structured sign offs are tied to the correct day and the correct location on the drawing, so a dispute about what happened on a busy Tuesday resolves against a dated record rather than an aging memory. A finished report rolls upward into weeklies and month ends that owners can read without a forensics degree. The superintendent stops redoing paperwork at night and starts building the evidence trail that protects the company, the crew and the owner, all from the same clipboard.

Change Orders

Cost control REV 1

Every change priced, tracked and billed

Change order workflows give the estimating desk and the field one shared numbered trail. Every directive from an owner, every price built from a genuinely reviewed scope and every signature that moves the work forward rolls into a change log that a project manager can hold up and read in one glance. A field change no longer disappears into a pocket on the way to the office, because it entered the pipeline the day it happened. The estimator sees everything waiting for a number, and the owner sees a clean defensible figure instead of a surprise at the month end. Because each change sits against its own base activity, the ripple into the master schedule shows up before anyone commits to the cost.

SHEET A5

Materials Tracked

Procurement NEW

From requisition to the receiving gate

Materials procurement tracking follows every long lead item from a signed purchase order to a loaded truck, to a guarded laydown and then to its final floor or opening in the building. The receiving report settles one side against the invoice and the other side against the schedule that needs the material. Lead time slips and substitution requests travel to the engineer before a concrete placement or a steel sequence is left standing still. Crews sign for what actually arrives, so the days spent hunting for a vanished anchor bolt or a wrong gauge of rebar become the easiest hours to add back to the bottom of a schedule. One numbered path replaces the treasure hunt.

Safety Logs

Compliance RFI O6

Orientation and compliance, kept honest

Safety orientation and compliance logs prove who was trained, when that training happened and which card is still good on the day a worker steps through the gate. Orientation sign offs, toolbox talks, craft cards and inspector approvals all live against the worker record instead of inside a drawer of clipboards. A scaffold certificate from three months ago is on the screen before the auditor finishes writing the question. Incident and near miss reports feed the weekly huddle rather than disappearing into a file. The same records that keep people unhurt also defend the company on a bad day, because the training trail was already complete when the question came.

38YRS

Jobsite discipline, drawn out of a combined 38 years in the field.

The men and women behind every AJD set have run concrete, steel, MEP and finish crews. We understand why a superintendent does not trust a schedule that nobody on the tools believes. So we design for the person holding the clipboard.

Second movement - The superintendent flow

Every AJD system follows a build from stake to punch

Each station on the route below is where a piece of the information system earns its keep. The pins run the same way your crews actually work.

Break Ground

Site logistics, access and early concrete control go live on the shared board before the first excavator turns.

Frame

Structural sequence and delivery coordination keep the erectors and carpenters working to one true plan.

MEP

Coordination portals resolve clash and trade order in the trailer, far away from a fresh fire wall.

Finish

A closeout board captures punch, inspections and turn-over so nothing gets lost in the paint and marble stages.

Closeout
COMPLETE

Warranties, as-builts and final billing are sealed in the archive that becomes your next projects evidence.

Owner payoff

Why owners keep a General Contractor who drafts straight

An information system is rarely the line item an owner circles on a bid. Yet it is almost always the difference between a project that floats and one that drags. When scheduling, coordination, reporting and compliance share one backbone, the effect shows up in every month-end.

  • Fewer lost days waiting on a trade that was never told
  • One source of truth that everyone on site uses
  • Fast, defensible answers to RFIs and change directives
  • A clean closeout and an archive that survives turnover
Talk to the drafting bay

What a disciplined set delivers

Measured on the same ruler

38%less rework on fully coordinated fronts
19days saved per average build
97%of RFIs answered inside the window
2wkfrom first call to a live schedule

No two jobsites are identical, so no two drafts are either. But every AJD set starts from the same discipline: it must be simple enough for a tired foreman and rigorous enough for a claim lawyer.

Field exchange board

Open requests for information, answered on their own tick

RFI 0041

Slab thickening near column line C4

A structural note and a mechanical penetration do not agree at the column line. The change order workflow pulled the conflict into view before the rebar cage was tied. Owner approved the thicker profile within the same week.

Resolved at weekly review
RFI 0047

Overhead door finish elevation

Two shop drawing revs left a three-quarter inch discrepancy at the dock header. The MEP coordination portal flagged the clash and the door fabricator confirmed the corrected reveal so the masonry line stayed on the drawing.

Substitution approved
RFI 0053

Roof mount layout for HVAC curbs

A duct chase and a parapet flash conflicted on the developed sheet. The daily site report system connected the roof membrane sub with the HVAC sheet so both crews balanced their sequence around a single curb plan.

Closed - recorded RFP

Every open request is stamped and time-tracked. No request ever disappears into a foreman pocket.

PERMITTED

Notice to proceed - same-week onboarding

Fresh drawings reach your trailer the week you sign. AJD Construction LLC drops a live master schedule, a coordination portal and a reporting sheet onto your job in the same window it takes a notice to proceed to clear the permit desk.

Owners are invited to book a pre-construction review and meet the drafting bay in Ogden before the first invoice is raised.
